Ironworkers Local 728's goal is to achieve a high standard of living and quality of life for our members and their families while building our economy - The Sky's the Limit.

Our Ironworkers perform skilled installations and erections of structural steel buildings, ornamental steel components, bridges, miscellaneous steel components (railings, ladders, ramps and stairways), precast & hollowcore, industrial buildings, towers and stadiums. They perform plant maintenance, pre-stressing and post tensioning systems and our Local hosts some of the best reinforcing Ironworkers this country has ever seen.  Local 728's members are also not strangers to manufacturing structural steel and rebar on site.

We are proud to represent professional and properly trained members in our area. Local 728 is committed to providing the highest in quality, safety and reliability when supplying the manpower for projects with all of whom have pledged their strict and professional adherence to the Ironworkers' Standards of Excellence.

Our members are trained through an extensive apprenticeship program and provide continued training for Journeypersons at all level of their career.
